Baron’s French Bakery quickly became a neighborhood institution, known for the irresistible aroma of buttery croissants, artisan breads, and elegant pastries inspired by the traditions of Paris. It was a place where classic French techniques met the vibrant tastes of the Vietnamese community, creating something uniquely its own.
In the 1990s, the bakery introduced what would soon become one of its most beloved and recognizable creations: Asian steamed buns in a wide variety of flavors. Soft, comforting, and full of flavor, these buns quickly captured the hearts of customers. Demand soon grew far beyond the neighborhood, and they began appearing in markets and shops across Southern California and throughout the nation. This signature line helped establish JB Wholesale Bakery as a trusted name in the wholesale bakery industry and a proud ambassador of Little Saigon’s culinary heritage.
Today, a new chapter begins as the youngest brother of the family returns after running his own successful restaurant in Hollywood. With renewed passion and a modern vision, he continues the legacy under a new name: JB Wholesale Bakery & Coffee. The bakery has been fully remodeled and thoughtfully reimagined—honoring decades of tradition while embracing the creativity and energy of a new generation.
That vision goes beyond the storefront. Today, JB Wholesale Bakery proudly partners with local businesses, new startups, and growing bakery chains, providing high-quality bakery products that help them expand their menus while reducing preparation time, labor demands, and operational costs.
